L'Orliarliere is situated on a plateau between the village of Marcon and the vibrant little town of La Chartre sur le Loir and is within easy access of the A28 and other major routes through the Loire Valley. Between 3 and 4.5 hours drive from Channel ports (Caen, Cherbourg, Le Havre, Dieppe) our location is ideal for a short break or longer stay during the holiday season. Our one bedroom Gite or two bedroom suite in the house will make a comfortable base to return to after your day's activity.  No matter your reason for visiting, L'Orliarliere is an ideal place to recharge your batteries. Whether staying a few nights BandB or a longer stay self-catering Gite Holiday you will soon fall into the gentle pace of life in this part of Pays de la Loire.

From L'Orliarliere you are ideally located to explore the delights of the tranquil Vallee du Loir countryside - much less busy than it's bigger sister la Loire to the south. Walking trails, bicycling, boating, horse riding are all available closeby and can be as energetic or relaxed as you prefer. However, if this all sounds a bit too strenuous then you can always find a quiet, shaded spot in the garden to enjoy your book or a snooze before cooling off in the pool!

UPDATE OCT'08......WE ARE THRILLED WITH THE ADDITION OF OUR RECENTLY COMPLETED GITE AND ARE CONFIDENT THAT GUESTS WILL ENJOY THE BRIGHT AND SPACIOUS ACCOMMODATION.  IDEAL FOR  A COUPLE IT IS FURNISHED IN MODERN STYLE BUT WE HAVE RETAINED AS MANY TRADITIONAL FEATURES OF THE CONVERTED 'GRANGE' AS POSSIBLE.
